Medium:
Tina concentrates on watercolour because she finds that it best suits her
style and her interests. She likes to paint as the impressionists did
“en plein air”; that is , on location, to be able to catch the
mood of the
moment. As she does a great deal of bushwalking
this medium enables her
to take the materials with her
and to complete a painting
in a day or half a day wherever she sets up camp. If the weather is
too bad for walking , she is able to
take a
spray of leaves or flowers
from
the ground around the site and spend the time sketching or painting
this subject.
