offers the work of more than 100 Tasmanian artists and crafts people. We choose each piece personally, not in terms of what is fashionable or what sells best, but according to its ability to reflect something of Tasmania.
Of the Huon Pine tables to be seen in Tasmania, Rock Fullard's are by far the most pleasing in proportion, balance, and in natural line. Table tops show the grain to full advantage, are finished in such a way that they are practical for use, and are cut to maximize the natural edge. Bases are made up of single or multiple root sections which take time and a keen eye to source and to recognize for what they could become. The secret of Rock's success is that he has this keen eye, and that he knows how to achieve the right balance between top and base. Each table has its own character and can not be repeated. It is no wonder that they now occupy homes in the USA, England, Canada, Holland and Japan (the table which went to Japan sat on top of a load of Abalone on its way.)
Below are example pictures of the tables, for photos of what we have in stock, do not hesitate to email us.
