Liz McKayAfter finishing a Bachelor of Arts Design(Hons), Liz studied Cinematography and Editing, followed by Animation, completing these studies in 2001.Since then, Liz has painted full time and has exhibited her work in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and New York. Her work are for sale at Saddler's Court Gallery(Tasmania) and galleries in Sydney, Melbourne & Adelaide & internationally in New York, New Zealand and Singapore. While Liz's figures convey intriguing expressions, the interactions between the painted figures invite the viewer to explore the unwritten thoughts and feelings between them. Intensely expressive in colour and form, her paintings are a quiet emotional universe of love, friendship and solitude. Liz uses acrylic paints and usually paints on canvas.
