The Kaleidoscope Company

Strato was born in Tasmania in 1959 to Greek immigrant parents. His training is in music and in the building of musical instruments, and he is both a performer and a maker. From the making of lutes, harpsichords and guitars he turned to kaleidoscopes, and now has a range of at least six different items which have been purchased by  and presented to many well known people, including the Dalai Lama and the Pope. Fine craftsmanship and a love of the materials he is working with are very evident in his creations.
