Alex has perfected the art of hollow turning, with his vase forms showing the beauty of the colour and grain in the Tasmanian timbers he uses.
His vase forms include the amphora, the urn and the bottle , with decoration such as chatter work, quilting, stippling, texturing and bark intrusion.
Smaller gift items include “genie” bottles which can be drizzled with perfumed oil so that the perfume can waft gently through a room.
